Now or Never! #UrQueenRR

Hi! It's me RR! Let's talk about things under the sun!

LOLANE PIXXEL:

Photo grabbed from Lolane PH Facebook account

Very Light Ash Blonde

Pixxel is a new hair color solution that's being known in the Philippines. I've first seen this product in SM Megamall. They were offering free hair color application for every purchase of their product. The product is manufactured in Thailand.

Claims:

*Long lasting
*Enhance hair's vibrancy and shine
*Moisturize and make hair smooth, shiny, easily manageable and sweet scented

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Pre-caution: Please do an allergy test before proceeding with the process. If allergy occurs, discontinue using the product.

In order to achieve the perfect color that you want, the hair must be light or bleached first. In my case, I bleached my hair using Hortaleza bleaching cream with 12% oxidizing lotion. Here's the result after the bleaching process:

With one bleaching process, my hair only achieved level 6 to 7 based on the chart of bleached hair below. I originally planned to have a level 9 or 10 however, I don't want to risk my hair in doing the bleaching process again.

Bleaching levels

The next step after the bleaching process is the hair color application.

Color solution process

For the hair color solution, just mix the oxidizing lotion with the hair color then apply with a brush. Let it stay for 30 minutes as suggested. For me, it took 60 minutes before washing it off.

Result:

Result after washing hair

With that, I was not able to achieve the color that I desired. Maybe if I bleached my hair twice, I may have achieved it. What I can suggest to have a better color is have a higher level of bleached hair and use TONER or VIOLET SHAMPOO so that the brassiness of the hair won't show.

Hair after 4 weeks
All in all, it's a good hair color solution however, the color is not that promising.

When In Baler, Aurora

When we hear Baler, we usually think of surfing and big waves. But trust me its more than that. There's a lot that Baler can offer to tourists.

Sabang Beach
1. Learn to Surf
Ride the waves! A lot of resort offers surfing lesson. It can range from P300 to P500 depends on how much you can haggle.

Just be careful with the waves as its really strong specially around December to February as the waves are really big.

Diguisit Falls

2. Diguisit Falls
The street-side falls! Literally beside the street but of course you still have to climb a few steps to reach the falls itself. A not so big falls that offers a cold water. Best for the hot beach weather.
There's no entrance fee when we went there.

 Diguisit Beach

Diguisit Rock Formation

3. Diguisit Beach and Rock Formations
Aside from the infamous Sabang beach, there is also Diguisit Beach which is on the other side of Baler. It is just across the Diguisit Falls. The water here is clear and blue. Waves may also be big. The rock formation is really nice but I just want to warn you about the rocks in the water. We saw a starfish like creature which is color black. Just be careful.

Ermita Hill

4. Ermita Hill
Ermita Hill is said to have saved the lives of the people who were affected by the "tsunami". As you can see there's a statue of people helping each other to climb the hill. Upon reaching the top of Ermita Hill, you could see the view of the Sabang beach.

If you got tired of climbing the hill, there's small food stalls at the foot of the hill. They are selling ice-cold buko which is very refreshing.

No entrance fee here.

Brgy. Zabali Hanging Bridge

Brgy. Zabali Hanging Bridge

5. Hanging Bridge
Good scenery with a bit of adventure. Who would not be thrilled to walk on a hanging and swaying bridge? An addition to the thrill is seeing that the floor of the bridge that is made of wood is quite brittle. There are also gaps which will allow you to see the water under the bridge. If you're holding your phone make sure to have a good grip because if it falls, you'll never know if it will shoot in the gap. (haha! I remember myself on the bridge)

No entrance fee but there's a donation box.

Aurora Quezon's Ancestral House

6. Aurora Quezon's Ancestral House
This is where we started our historical tour. The house is well maintained but there's an entrance fee of P30.00. Keep the receipt as you can still use it for your entrance in Museo de Baler.

Museo de Baler

7. Museo de Baler
A few steps away from the Ancestral house of Dona Aurora is the Museo de Baler. The museum is not that big as it is just two storey.

Millennium Tree

8. Millennium Balete Tree
Tagged as the Milleninium tree, this balete tree which is already 600 years old is the Largest Balete Tree in Asia. It is located in Maria Aurora in Baler. The tree is so big, our group was able to fit inside the tree.

YES! We were already inside the Balete Tree
There's a CCTV camera to monitor what's happening inside the tree.
Tourists are only allowed to climb the tree 3 meters from the ground to avoid serious, life-threatening accidents. I think for the entrance fee we paid P20.00 per head.

Ampere Beach

Ampere Beach

9. Ampere Beach
Locals would call it "Boulevard" this beach is approximately an hour travel from the Sabang Beach. The view is worth the travel. The view may be nice but the waves are really strong. Not advisable to take a dip. I think this was my favorite spot. I loved the rocks and the waves and the view itself! We even brought rocks for souvenirs. No entrance fee for this beach. Just be careful when walking here because when I say it's rocky, I really mean a lot of rocks!

The roadside "SAPA"

10. Roadside SAPA
Since the big waves are not suitable for the kids, we brought them here to take a dip. This running water is so clear and so cold. We were told that the water comes from the mountain. The kids really enjoyed swimming here. The adults enjoyed dipping our feet here. This is where we ended our Baler tour.

Sadly, we were not able to visit a lot of place since we only spent 2 days/1 night and the weather is not so good to us. We'll come again to visit the "Mother Falls".

Woke up like this :D

Every girl's dream is to have those "on fleek" lashes but not all are given the opportunity. But with the emerging technology and fashion, everyone could already have a dream come true lashes!

Since I already have a long lashes, my mom would not allow me to try extensions but I want to have those glam eyelashes, I pursued it.

I saw the deal of Asia's Lashes in www.CashCashPinoy.com for (I think) around P150.00 to P300.00. But of course I called them to ask about their promotion. I was told that they do have a promotion for P500.00 I can already have unlimited lashes and one free retouch within one week after the actual extensions. So I opted for that.

Asia's lashes is one of the celebrity's choices like Dimples Romana, Kitkat, Kakai Bautista, Diane Medina, Bangs Garcia and Dj Chacha.

from Asia's Lashes Facebook

Last October 2015, I went to Asia's Lashes in Ortigas. It's just at the back of Robinson's Galleria. I was excited to try the eyelash extensions so when I got there, I was already assisted since I got an appointment. The procedure just took around 40 minutes to finish. The glue is not stingy unlike others.

Asia's lashes after eyelash extension procedure

When I saw the outcome, I was so happy but my eyelashes felt heavy. The eyelashes that they placed on me is not human hair. On the contrary, it looks good! As you can see on the photo above, I had the lashes that I always wanted.

More of my eyelash extension photo

Before I left Asia's Lashes, I was told of how to take care of my new lashes.
-Avoid washing face specially the eye area as the glue is not yet fully dry
- Avoid moving the lashes or touching it (so imagine how I wash my face without touching it or how I dry my face after washing)
- Avoid swimming

The staff told me that the extensions could stay on for 2 weeks to a month depending on my care. Mine lasted for almost a month but I noticed that there were already gaps since some lashes are already falling off.

DO NOT EVER PULL THOSE EXTENSIONS OFF! I learned my lesson the hard way. Since I was trying to save money instead of paying for the removal, I pulled em off. Result? I lost my lashes. Those lashes should be removed by PROFESSIONALS. roger?

You can check Asia's Lashes website here and like them on Facebook too.

A.Y.O.S
Alliance of Youth On Service
1994-Present
Oh YES! I am under A.Y.O.S Party

When I was asked if I could run for third year representative, I was like 'Huuh! Ano isasagot ko?' I didn't answer right away. I needed time to think. They of course gave me the time. But I was under time pressure =)). When the time ended, I decided that I will run. First, because I wanted to serve my fellow (being the class president since 1st year first sem, it's like a part of my life now).  I also wanted to experience campaigning (the RTR is fun!)
During the preparation, I can already feel the excitement. When we had the photoshoot and campaign speech training we really had fun! I felt like we were like a family. It wasn't only like a Party. I felt the warmness.
The Party turned Family.
AYOS!

FORMAL^^

The haggard formal photo. Actually this photo was taken months before the election.

Everytime I have our RTR campaign, I feel the pressure and I get lost. Every time I rach that part of my campaign speech like "What made me qualify to this position is EXPERIENCE" after that, I get lost. I dunno what to say. It should be "I know it's my time NOW to serve you my batchmates". I always skip that part. I think it's because it was  revised a day before thereal campaign. I should really practice speaking in front of people. (LOL)

So after the campaign, the election followed. So I was nervous. REALLY! =)) Minutes before the Proclamation, I was cramming on doing my assignment. I didn't want to pressure myself.

Okay, so when it's proclamation time, the feeling was so DIFFERENT! News were spreading that some reps were not able to make it. I started to cry but I don't know why. There were even people who started hugging me even before the proclamation but I don't know them. So when it's our time to be proclaimed, I cried harder. The moment I heard that the three candidates did not make it.

We comforted each other and congratulated others. Hugging people because they are congratulating you. The emotion was different. Happy because you won and sad because not all of you made it.There was even a professor who approached us and told us to be strong and not to cry. Prove to others that they are not worth it.

February 4, 2012: I was so excited  to celebrate my birthday with my cousins.
Many things happend  before we reached our destination
*Star City*

*They came late.
*We were caught in the traffic at Aurora Blvd because of a shooting.
*I was caught by a traffic enforcer because of wrong lane. (I used my charm.lol=)))
*We saw an accident.

We were so excited to get in! Especially me because I missed the rides and the FUN! There were many students. We wanted to ride the Star Flyer first but the line was very  long and so we choose the Surf dance instead. We thought the line wasn't long but when we were there, we took 1 hour and a half (est.) before we were able to ride. The fun really started. We were shouting and enjoying the thrill. After the Surrf Dance, we tried the viking. It took us 30 mins or more before we were able to ride. We tried the Jumping Star but it was  so 'bitin' more or less 30 secs. only. We were tired of the long lines so we tried the Bump Car. We enjoyed bumping each other's car and racing and being reckless.

This guy made my day!

I think I'm inlove with this guy.

We ate dinner at KFC at around 12 am. Too late for a dinner. We had fun going in horror houses and riding so we forgot eating. After dinner, we went to EDSA to drop him off. I AGAIN went on the wrong lane. And so again, A traffic enforcer stopped me. (and again I used my charm ;D ) I went home with a smile on my face =) It was a fun and amazing birthday celebration!
